Premier Companies Aids Youth
Suicide Prevention Effort
Premier Companies' President, Bob Aronin, has announced that
10% of the firms net income will be donated to the Raymond
St. Jean Memorial Foundation for the Prevention of Youth Suicide.
In making the decision public, he pointed to the fact that
"more than 500,000 young people attempt suicide last
year - and more than 17,000 succeeded. With early detection
and intensive intervention by professionals, family and peers
this horrible waste of our youth can be prevented." The
Foundation operates a program called "S.O.S." (Stop
One Suicide) to provide support resources to accomplish just
that - stop a kid from killing himself or herself.
